Near where I live in south Novato, lie a series of abandoned ammunition bunkers that were part of the former Hamilton Air Force Base. Their surfaces have been transformed by both graffiti artists and the relentless march of natural decay, such as rust and peeling paint.
I love finding art by exploring the connection between the two.
